I'm a Management & Training Consultant
I started my working life proper in about 1960 when I became a professional musician. It was at a time when everything in popular music was still on a rapid change curve. Brought about by the likes of Lonnie Donegan and his Skiffle Group.
I had played in the -by then- compulsory skiffle groups and had now progressed to a three piece Rock Group. After doing all the usual things that new British bands did at that time like: playing the UK club and dance hall circuit, the Star Club Hamburg, Thank Your Luck Stars TV, Ready Steady Go TV etc. I eventually settled down to becoming a jobbing muso!
After about 13 or 14 years of this, I decided to get a REAL job and joined CBS in London as a Drum Clinician and Promotions Manager.
Then in 1981 I opened my own Music Shop in Maidenhead, Berks UK and then later, moved back home to Wales to run a Commercial Decorating company with my step-father.
In 1993, I decided to go back to school and studied for an MBA, at the same time I started my Management & Training Consultancy which is where I am today.
